This statement piece specifically honors our indigenous relatives that were placed in boarding schools thorughout the US and Canada. This is a photo edit and modifcation of my great grandmother the first day she arrived at Hampton Indian School in Virginia. Children were not allowed to speak their own language (Unspoken) and were not allowed to cry (Unseen Tears).
